The system seems to hang-up during booting. It only displays Windows XP home edition, there are times that it boot normally but with so much time. I encountered this last time and I just reformat the hard drive, but after a few weeks here it is again... Please help me with this.. Thanks in advanced!

I load my Operating system fresh, so no porn and i'm quite sure no virus because all programs i load there is also the program i using on my second computer and it works well.

You might have virus on your computer that effect your PC. I would suggest running a virus or Internet Security software scan. Even if you format your PC a file can last up to 6 formats so a virus could still be in the system.

It sounds like your overclocking your processor...
One thing can only happen when the clock pulse happens. If the pulse is too high, then it over heats too quickly and simply crashes.

Check the heat where the fans are, or how loud the fans are working. Or open the tower/case and see how much dust is inside. It could be blocking the heat syncs working properly. DON'T touch anything without anti-static gloves though, or don't use a vacuum, it might to too powerful for the components.

If its loud, or too hot take it to a specialist (its better to make it their fault if you don't know what your doing).

Despite all of the viruses that could possibly do this, it really does sound like a hard drive giving out. New computer or a $30 trip to eBay.

You probably have a Trojan in your hard drive so you'll have to go out a buy a new hard drive they could be expensive but i have seen cheap ones.

if your computer boots, go to start -> run ->msconfig and in the servies tab uncheck for things which are not needed..

you might need to up date your computer or you need to take it into geek squad they might help you.

if you need to up date then go get a new windows

and if that doesent work then email bill gates and tell him that he sucks

could have a worm/virus or your pc could just be brain dead from too much work if you overclocked it
