I just bought my husband an xm radio and we threw everything away-manual and box. He had service for about a month and decided that he did not like it. Can I sell it even though he has an overdue account? I ask because I think that they ask for the serial number or something to be able to activate it. Please help if you can. I don't want this radio sitting here collecting dust. Someone else could use it and I could make a couple of dollars out of it.

The account is tied in with the serial number. I'd check with XM but it would be easier to pay the overdue acct. If its only been about a month you have only $12.95 times "x" amount of months. Don't let it pile up. You don't have a contract but you do have to call and cancel or go on line.

Yes. Your account does not transfer with the radio. They will continue to bill you for your account. You are past due on one month? Isn't that around $12?

Not sure..Maybe you can call XM and pretend like your sister is giving you one and ask if you can transfer it. Just a thought..
