Shouldn't Hank Greenberg have his own category . The man was Jewish and great Jewish ballplayers are a rarity.
The only record that matters to me is Maris's because we all know that he is the true single season home run record holder.
Swinging Sammy and the Steroid Boys are
cheaters and therefore their "records " should not be recognized.

Exclude McGwire, Bonds, Sosa, and Gonzalez. I don't like Griffey, but he did earn it. As long as they earn it, then I will give credit where credit is due.

I no longer recognize any single-season home run record. There is only one record to me, and since Barry Bonds stole it from McGwire who stole it from Maris, I no longer care.

i like Chipmaker's checklist. yet he forgot one for Jim Thome. At 604, huge Jim is merely 5 at the back of Sammy Sosa, so he will bypass Sammy for seventh on the all time homestead run checklist.
