Does it work for you even in the rough momentos

Yes, I have seen THE SECRET and am still using the law of attraction. I really have to keep on top of what I think. I find there are times I actually sabotage myself because I can think of others who deserve more than I. It is really hard mental work because we as women are taught to care for others first and we see it practiced everyday by our mothers, grandmothers, sisters, aunts, etc. Even our religious texts tell us to be helpmates to our husbands.

So . . . I have a lot of work to do on the way I think about myself and what I deserve. I watch it once a day to help keep me focused.

Since you aren't saying what the "(secret) law of attraction" is, you must be assuming that we already know what it is. In which case it's not so secret is it? On the other hand, if it is secret, we don't have any idea what you're talking about - how are we supposed to answer you? (Is this the kind of answer your secret law of attraction promised to get for you?)

The Secret has done a great job in bringing universal laws into public consciousness, however, I felt that the movie itself focused too much on financial wealth and gain... don't get me wrong tho I have nothing against money (show me the money! lol )

But once you understand how our energies work fueled with intention, emotion, and belief you can't help but know the truth of it. Quantum physics supports this very idea!

And yes, it especially works in the rough moments... just be very aware of the energy your sending out... it's so much harder to send out that positive vibe when things seem so down.

Find your focus... and stick to it!

My life has improved incredibly since I began observing the law of attraction back in 1998. I have nothing but gratitude for the person who clued me in, and for Jerry and Esther Hicks who have devoted their lives to spreading this teaching.
I am going on 62 and have a wonderful 3 yr old daughter who we named Sara Joy after the character in the Sara books that they wrote.
The rough moments, when I feel worse than my usual mood, are great wake-me-ups.

Yes, I have seen the movie and read the book. I am a believer.. 8 years ago, my boyfriend and I wanted to move to Las Vegas- We didn't know how we were going to get here, but just that we wanted to be here.. We moved within 18 months of making up our minds that we were going to live here.
2nd, I was involved in a car accident in 2005. My beloved car was totalled.. I loved my car and was very depressed for a couple months over the loss. I was determined to "replace" my car. One friday I went to a dealership and they had my new car. It was the same year, same body style and was within 300 miles of the mileage that the wrecked car was. To top it off, the price I ended up paying was what I owed on the other one before it was totalled. Now you might be saying"what a crock" - BUT the remote for the 2 cars even had the same frequency- which no one in the dealership could believe.. The secret is real, true, and works.. You just have to BELIEVE IN YOURSELF first...
And to be completely fair, it has worked in negative ways for me too--- but I admit I was focusing on negative events prior to them happening..
Stay focused on positive things, and feel good...

While I haven't seen the movie or read the book, from the little I've heard about it, it's just another one of those wishful thinking self fulfilling prophecy gimmicks out on the market. I can see why someone like Oprah would believe in such trash.

Life doesn't just happen because you wish it would, it requires someone to take action and make it happen. If someone else's actions cause side effects that benefit another person that just so happens to be wishing for such a side effect, it's called coincidence not magic or the 'secret'. Just another scam artist trying to make money from the gullibility of people to believe in just about anything and to buy a book that promises to teach them how to get this power for themselves.

My friend Pip told me about her experiences leading up to her first division lottery win.

“It was weird because I had been doing affirmations saying ‘I am wealthy...” and “I’ve won lotto!!!!” I have the The Secret DVD and anyway I watched that and started the " I am wealthy" affirmations. http://www.psychic-junkie.com/psychic-wins-lottery.html

As a teacher of The Secret for many years, as well as being a profession psychic, I now recommend The Secret DVD to everyone. http://www.psychic-junkie.com/does-the-secret-really-work.html

The attraction law does seem to work, but it worked negatively in my case. What I dreaded the most in fact eventually happened to me. Nothing beats praying to the Lord though!

It has definitely worked for us. It will work if you are OPEN to it. And, it's not about religion, it is about positive thinking.
