And it wasnt her lower back, it was the upper back right about where a bra would wrap around. She is EXTREMLEY shy and self consious. I sometimes grab her knee because it is the one ticklish spot on her that I can essentially reach just about anytime. So she said that she isnt as ticklish there as she is simply not used to having a guy touch her. So if even being meerley tickled bothers her, then why is it that she was perfectly comfertable having a random stranger poke a needle into her with her shirt off. (and I would assume she would have had to take her bra off as well because of where the tattoo is).

Does anyone see the logic in being comfertable with taking off your shirt and bra for a tattoo but feeling uncomfertable being tickled by a friend? Oh, if it makes any difference she and I both like eachother but dont want to risk our friendship dating. Anyway, I tried to make sense of this last night and I have had a headache all day.

Thanks.

I should also add that I tickle just about all my friends there, male or female, and she knows it.

Also, her tattoo wasnt a comitment. She saw a girl that had one and decided she wanted one too. A week later she went into the studio, picked out a design, and got it. So if she is telling the truth about that then I dont see how it could be her being hell bent on having a tattoo

it isnt you, it is diffrent . getting a tattoo is a commitment and once you make your mind on getting it normally yyou dont care what you have to do in order ot get it, saodont compare it. maybe she just is scared of liking you and having you touch her affectionetly scares her.

Tickling leads to other things. It's a permission to touch you in a socially acceptable way that opens the door for curiosity.

A tattoo is just a tattoo. It hurts. It's a defined behaviour and if the tattoo artist starts to get frisky you have every right to point this out and to threaten to go to consumer affairs about the botched tattoo.

Don't ever try to make sense of women.

Ok logic is that tickle takes a light really feather light touch where as needles dont tickle they hurt,,,no question about tickle there...I feel the same way! So much so that I cant otuch my stomach with a light hand or I get so ticklish...I wont be able to bear it so I use strong touch!

There are many more boundaries that can be crossed in a personal relationship than in a controlled enviroment were services are rendered. More intimacy than having your shirt off happen on such deeper levels that can make someone way more uncomfortable. A female doctor see's more of a woman than she would ever disclose to a husband of 30 years. But her doctor isn't trying to form a relationship only assure that she's healthy. Personal boundaries such as her asking you not to grab her body that way should always be honored. Especially if you care for her.
