I'm male, turning 23, never had a six pack, never had a good body.
I have some excess body fat which is embarassing. My butt is too big, even though I bike a lot. I have a gut, small arms, and have man boobs. Yes, man boobs. I've had them since I was 9 and it's embarassing. I weight 175 and I have man boobs. I'm saying this with emphasis, because I find it depression to know that every part of my body, whether I'm in shape or not, I have man boobs. One nipple is bigger than the other. I have strech marks on my but and sides. I have scars on my chest, back, all over my hands and arms, and face.
The only flaw I take pride in is my scars, really. They show that I am a man and have fought through life to get where I am with experience and wisdom.
I just wish my butt and chest wasn't so big. I often think that I'm going to prove those kids from fifth grade wrong, that I'm not weak and small as they said I was, but I'm still like this...
The only reason why I haven't been able to get in the shape I want is because I barely have any joints left in my knees. I had a spiral fracture in an arm and my right legs. Running and walking is out. I have little use of my left hand. I can't draw anymore and I'm a traveling artist.
So, I think I am self conscious about my body and what has happened to it. I'm young and it's not getting any easier.

I'm starting to be. I have always been skinny my whole life but just in the past year I have gone up 2 waist sizes in my jeans and I am getting a gutt on me. I had to buy all new pants but my shirts have all stayed the size. I drive a truck for a living so I dont get alot of excersize like I should but I'm laying off the pepsi and drinking little bit more water and my pants arent as tight now around the belt line like before. I couldnt stand the way I was looking and I dont want to turn into a big pottbelly truck driver like I see alot of. oh yea I'm 36 male thought I better add that too. :) I dont want to end up with the dickey do syndrome!!! My belly stick out further than my dickey do!!! lol

I'm a 46 year old male and I think I'm just right weightwise. Having said that, I also don't think it's critical to pay too much attention to the number on your scale. I get out of the shower, and look in the mirror. If I like what I see, than I'm happy. If I feel I can lose some weight, then I will try to lose weight. Today, I'm at 197 and would like to get to 190-193. I know numbers don't mean anything, but I would like to lose a few more pounds around my middle. However, looking around at my health club at people my age, I realize I'm in pretty good shape.
Hope this helps.

I am 33, female, and very much over weight. I've been working on it seriously since October, and have lost 25 pounds by modifying my diet and being aware of my portions.

Last Wednesday I joined a gym and have gone there every day since joining. 45 minutes of brisk walking, followed by 20 minutes of light weight training. Going forward, I will continue going at least 3 times a week.

My goal is to lose 80 pounds by the end of the year (80 + 25 = 105 lb loss).

Hooray for me!

I'm 17, male, and somewhat pudgy -- 25 BMI, so in the overweight category. Used to be a good 40 lbs heavier last year.

Super self-conscious about it. I can't be around people at all without noticing how much skinnier they are and how much better they look.

I have always been conscious of my weight, i am 22 and female. When i was young and in infant school i was called fat (even though i a.) wasn't and b.) was only 6!! This has stuck with me though for the rest of my life so far. I have got it stuck in to my head that i am overweight and everything seems to come back to that.

I don't think there are that many people though who are happy with their bodies, i think if you are slim you hate some other part of your body. its human nature!

16, some people tell me that i'm too skinny and some tell me i'm fine, but i am conscious about my weight because at times i do feel too skinny, but i'm my doctor told me that i was perfectly healthy. don't matter how much food i eat i can barely gain weight, the most i'll gain is 5 lbs and that's in like 3 months.

5'7 about 140lbs .....23 y o. I think i am too skinny. Most of people say i am not but i believe i am because i want more curve. All i have is my booty, lil chest, no meat on my bones, just a muscle. I dont mind muscle and i dont mind small chest. I wouldnt mind gaining even more weight on my hips and booty. Oh and i am a female.....its figures...because if i was a male and wanted more booty then it just would be very wrong...lol

I'm male, 6 ft tall and 10 stone which makes me slightly underweight. I'm not worried though because I'm healthy and am pretty sure I'll put weight on in time!
