I agree with you 100% Why should these trolls get a 2nd chance to ruin another childs life? Life in jail no parole, 1st offense no questions.

And just what is your question? Are you looking for support for capital punishment? Are you suggesting that the government of the United States has the right to take the life of another human being for raping or molesting someone - woman or child? Bit extreme, don't you think? I can agree that the judicial system is letting the whole country down by letting repeat offenders out of jail, but taking their lives is wrong and immoral... Two wrongs do not make a right!

I don't agree with the death penalty but listen to this. In the UK we have very soft sentencing. The one that i found most appaling was a guy who was part of a gang that kidnapped, gang-raped, tortured and then murdered a 14 year old boy. He got 8 years, out in 5 years. Commited another horrible crime pretty much straight away and went back inside. He will be out again in 5 or 6 years. It's crazy. Life sentences should mean LIFE not a few years.

Yes, it is unfortunate that prison does not cure an ailment. Most convicts that leave prison usually go back for the same crime. Yet if they have served the time they were sentenced for, we cannot stop them from leaving prison, we can only hope that parents become responsible and look after their young.

Because we spend so much money paying taxes...we can't afford newer and bigger prisons. The public and judicial system look for ways to relieve the stress on the already overburdened penal system.
But, I agree we are in many cases too lenient. I also believe in the saying "Spare the rod...spoil the child!"
It's like saying, in my humble opinion, that illegal drugs use and sales are not a "violent" crime.
I disagree! Drug dealers contribute pain and suffering to every one they come in contact with. Additionally, I would suggest that a majority of crimes committed in the US have a drug nexus to the crime.
How about the gum chewer in Singapore who was "cained" for breaking their law! Bet he never does the "gum violation" again!!!
My biggest suggestion....contact every legislator you know on a state and federal level. Tell them how you feel our system of checks and balances is not working. Let them know you expect better out of our judicial system!
Best wishes!

Everyone deserves a 2nd chance except murderers. I'm down for all the supervision in the world but they deserve to get out of prison.

I think that they should only be in jail for a day. That is to say I would like to see them tied up and restrained in a room with the family members of the victim without supervision. The family members and friends should be provided with a wide array of weaponry and torture devices as well. As for those of you who argue that taking someones's life away for raping another is cruel, I think that Raping someone is worse than killing them. Many rape victims commit suicide afterwards, therefore one life should be paid for with the other.

Here's a web site where you can at least look them up nationally ... I could rant and rave in your support, but for now I'll just be proactive.
