It doesn't matter any doctor can perform the test, or send it to the lab.

First take a home pregnancy test, it's about 10$ if it's positive go to a obgyn. They do all the real tests your regular doc will send you to him anyway.

You can go to either doctor, both of them will send you to a lab for a blood test. Have you done an at home urine pregnancy test? You should spend $10 and test yourself first that way if you ARE pregnant you can see your OB/gyn for prenatal vitamins and all the other goodies they give you.

You would just go to your regular family doctor. Its much easier to just go buy a test. If you ARE pregnant--a pregnancy test usually isn't wrong. The line on my pregnancy test when i found out i was pregnant actually showed up before the actual test line that shows the test worked. lol So my baby was definetly making sure i knew he was there!!! Good luck!

Family Physician. OR go to the drug store and buy a test that way you will know within minutes. Most times your family physician would have you go to the lab and then you would have to wait until he/she gets the results to let you know. Can take a few days if you are not in city. Congrats if so,

Whichever can get you in first. If pos, then get a scrip for vitamins right away...the early days count. Then, you can ease into an appointment to go over things with your obgyn. Good luck!

depending on your insurance. I had to go see my primary doctor (family doctor) 1st and then he referred me to an OBGYN.

buy a home test kit and if it is positive call your ob/gyn and tell them you had a positive and would like to make an appointment.
If you go to your GP they will probably just do the urine dip test you could do at home and charge you a whole lot more money.
