Be on time first off. Dress professionally. A firm handshake, and do not avoid eye contact. SMILE! Your personality is more important that what you know... people can always train you with the job skills needed, but your personality is something that only you control!!!

You do it in three seconds or less by making a positive first impression - a lot of studies show that people make judgments on a subconscious level within the first few seconds.

Smile, make eye contact, proffer a firm but not crushing handshake, dress neatly and be well groomed. You'll have them at "hello!" :)

In 30 seconds? Well, appearance is key then and confidence. Dress the part, firm handshake and project confidence in your greeting.
