is there any way you could find past aim conversations.?

Well, both MSN IM and Yahoo IM both have archiving features, so it stands to reason that AIM would to. Go to it's menu, and check for "Options." In all likelyhood, there's something there that will enable you to archive your convos.

Yes i am sure the conv... are saved.. u would have probably been ask to have Ur conv.. saved when u were first using it.. i would look in Ur tools or options menu for something to do with Ur msg's and perhaps file transfers and there should be a path some were in the menu that would tell u if and were the msg are being save to on Ur hard drive.. i know for msn messenger they are saved in "My Documents \ Received files".

Yes there is...

It actually stores a copy on your computer and one on the AIM server, so there is a way you can download some old conversations.

I think the longest is 6months...

you can use google desktop search and it will log all of your IMs and allow you to search through them. Or you can set the IM program to log all conversations. The settings will be different for each IM program. If you haven't been logging currently, it might make it difficult to find previous IMs.

im not so sure but they should be an html file stored in a specified folder somewhere. If you saved it you can Search for it. Go to Start > Search. I am sure it will help.
