I would call your babies doctor and explain your situation and the babies.... maybe than can get your child in ASAP.

102 is a concern, could be minor, perhaps allergies, but if the temperature rises and becomes cranky late in the afternoon and night, most likely something more serious
could be happening. I would not take any chances with a small child this young.

My little boy had 103 temp. The day before he was a little cranky, took him to the doctor and he had double pneumonia, needless to say I was a bit shocked!

GO to the Doctor today and get their opinion. If its an ear infection or bladder infection or some other type you need to get the antibiotics.
Another thing that comes to mind is Rotovirus. Children will spike a high fever one day and the next they are Vomiting and having DIareaha. Could get bad very quickly.

Other than that it might just be a rough start to a cold.

If your child has a temp of 102 they have something wrong. When my sister got fever, it immediately went up past 101. Call your pediatrician b/c if it is an ear infection you do not want to fly and their ears pop and they scream the whole flight.

Take the child to the doctor and see what they have to say. Your child could have strep or ear infections. dont take any chances with your child.
