How can you predict with all the current form and results of the matches?

Can't you guess who's a WI fan?
I love cricket for this. The beautiful unpredictability of the game. We can't predict who will win. I'm content to just settle for loyalty and supporting favourite teams. And acknowledging great cricket by not-so-favourite teams (this is the "gentleman's game" after all).
Prior to the match I knew with 99% certainty who was going to be in the Super 8 round. If you had told me that Pakistan was going to be out first round, I would have laughed at you.
I think part of the reason for the unexpected results we are seeing is that some of the "big boys" got a bit sloppy and underestimated the "minnows" who have come out playing a great standard of game. They should be congratulated for stepping up to the plate and not being defeatist when playing against some the best cricketing teams ever. In contrast, some of the top teams haven't looked so happy in the field and in the crease.
All combined, it keeps you on the edge of your seat, wondering "what next?"
Whoever said cricket was boring didn't know what they were talking about.

Hard to say anything after the results like Pakistan lost against Ireland and India lost against Bangladesh! Now I think from the matches so many teams have chances like teams who need to work hard! Many Teams have chances to win but i think in semi final the teams will be West Indies,Austrailia, New Zeland, Sri Lanka or South Africa!
These 5 teams are the teams who have chances in the semi-final and 4 of them will go! Hard to say who will go in final and win the world cup!

Since cricket is a game of uncertainties, nothing can be predicted for sure about the outcome of a tournament well in advance.
The fair prediction one can make at this stage is whichever team play to their potential consistently during the world cup will be the ultimate winners.

From current form and results of the matches, the countries which would be in super eight are Aus, SA, NZL, WI, SL, IRE, ENG, IND
those which would get in Semi finals would be AUS, SA, WI, NZL
those would play final would be SA and NZL
Winner will be SA

i can assure u that south Africa can win the world cup seeing the performance from the last world cup it gone stronger they made many new records like the longest chase of 438 runs in odi and no.of sixes in one over and in all respects south Africa will win the match.
