i am going to a my first Fray concert soon and i was wondering how the "whole concert thing" works out and how many songs they play.

Yay i'm going to see The Fray soon too!
It usually depends on the concert, but for The Fray, i looked at the past set lists they have posted on their website, and they usually play about 15 songs in their headlining concerts, give or take a few.

it really depends on the band. Considering the price we pay for concert tickets, I think a band should perform for at least 1hour30 but unfortunately some bands are known to play for barely an hour and then there are others who'll stay on for up to two hours, which is really cool...on average a band usually plays for between 70 and 90 minutes-just enjoy the music when you go and don't worry about the time :D

It usually depends on whether the band in question is a headliner or an opening band, or if it's a "'Fest" kinda concert, where several bands play sets for like 45 mins each. If it's a headliner with a couple of opening bands, they'll probably play for like an hour. opening bands usually play somewhere around 30 or 45 mins.

Depends on the artist. Also how many songs/hits they have. I remember when i went to Destiny's child's last tour they had performed like 35 songs but not in full: medelys or however you spell it. So if the artist has a lot of son's to choose from he would probably choose the best and then favorites of his or her album.
