My second wife and I met in our mid thirties and knew within two months but waited for an additional two months before getting married. I wouldn't recommend that short of time, but it worked out like a dream for us. We did however live on 4 hours of sleep a night and spent every evening with each other talking from 5PM to about 2Am the next morning. We knew more about each other(inside) in that four months than most couples do in dating for over a year's time. The key is to know each other fully before committing to a lifetime of marriage. Good Luck.

There is someone out there for everyone and when things are meant to happen they will. There is no formula for knowing when someone is the one. You don't think @ one time or another, that people that are divorce saw their spouse as the one. Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one, so that when we finally meet the person, we will know how to be grateful.

Oh... I think this takes time. Id give it at LEAST 2 years to know for sure, and one of those years living together. You can find out alot of things you DO NOT Like about a person by living with them. Good luck

i would have to say at least 5 years......it will take that long to know all sides of a person.....it will also help you realize how the other person deals with the good, bad and ugly!
too many people today are rushing into everything.....hence the statistics for divorce.

I should take every day of your life even after you get married!
To address a woman who is 25, the same way you address a woman who is 45 is just disrespectful to the woman!

If you're talking marriage, I'd say about a year. That should be sufficient time to discuss all the most significant topics, such as sex, children, money, careers, religion, philosophy, politics, etc.

You should be with someone at least all 4 seasons to know for sure. What's the rush.
