how can i tell my friend that she smells bad without hurting her feelings???????????

had this problem with someone i worked with. and unfortunately as the assistant manager; the store manager gave me the privilege of taking her out shopping for "new" brands of soap, deodorant,shampoo, and toothpaste perfume etc. to "try" hopin she would get the hint. i really did not want to hurt her feelings. but when the next time i worked with her; her body odor made me gag. i had to tell her to go home and shower, wash her hair, brush her teeth and use deodorant or not come back because she was not only offending her co-workers but our customers as well. maybe your friend just needs a little push or she may need a shove; but personal hygiene is something she needs to be made aware of.

Take her to the mall and buy some body wash that way she'll take a shower and smell good. Try showing her some perfumes and convince her to buy one. Or go to the store and pretend to buy some deodorant and tell her how satisfied you are with it and convince her to buy the same one!

You have to be truthful with her. It may hurt but, it's better that she finds out from someone she's close to, rather than being teased or talked about, behind her back.

Buy her a gift (body stuff like body wash and spay). Tell her it was for something she did for you.

you should just tell them that since you are there friend and you care about them you should tell them that way they know that youre still there friend and you care about them
