Anyone follow the CHL?

Question

If you do please answer all the following that you have an answer to:

1. Which team is the BEST in the 06/07' Season? Why?

2. Are there any players who are currently in the NHL who played in the CHL? Who are they?

3. What is the approx. average salary for a CHL player? Please include source for this answer.

I follow it- It is the QMJHL-The OHL- The WHL. They play for the memorial cup.

MOST hockey players played in the CHL- pretty much just name someone and there is a better chance that they did than did not. It is easier to say guys who did not. Alot of Russians (Ovechkin/Malkin) played in elite leagues in Russia instead. Same with some other Europeans (Swedes/Finns). Other guys take the NCAA route (Drury/Kariya) and some guys do both NCAA and CHL-Joe Dipenta. Some guys go to U.S. prep schools followed by the CHL-Crosby/Angelo Espisito. Anyways, it is to the NHL what college football is to the NFL.
They do not get a salary and are not professional.

OK I assume you mean the Canadian Hockey League. Don't know which team was the best, whichever wins the Memorial Cup is officially the best.
2 Dude there have been a lot of players that played in the CHL, except you have to remember the CHL is really the OHL the QJMHL and the other league, can never remember what the name is.
3 I don't think they get paid, they are under-age players and I think it is more or less amateur thing but don't really know.
