Where are some decent apartments in Santa Cruz that don't spend up all of my money?

it seems like it's almost impossible to find a cheap place in this area, i looked for months before I found where I live, and I'm tucked away in the mountains outside of santa cruz, that's the only way i can afford rent for a decent place. I would say, just rent a room out of a house that has all utilities paid, that's how you'll get the best deal. look in the santa cruz sentinel or on www.craigslist.com

Try UCSC off campus housing. Real estate in No. Cal. is the most pricey in the US (more than NYC & LA)and Santa Cruz is at the top. The unemployment rate is always way above the State and National average. Good luck!
