If you like your brothers best friend who happens to be your neighbor than go out with him and do not listen to what other people say. You are the only person who can make that decision for yourself.

look girl if you feel that you love him, just forget about all that things and be happy with him.if you like him, never give up just because of stupid things. But uf you don't love him live him alone and get someone you really love.
