some friends and i are having a little debate i like the plays because the are funny and more personal and the songs really touch my heart . oters in the descussion thinks the movies are better because the are more hollywood base .

i think the plays are a little funnier than the movies b cuz someone might make a mistake then it might b a little funnier

I personally like the movies better. I've seen both... I don't really care for all the voluminous singing in the plays. They both send powerful messages to the audience though. They both are all about bringing back African-American dignity. More power to Tyler Perry!!!
