You can use a small bit and drill or if you have a dremmel tool it might be easier to work with depending on the size of the beads. hold the beads with either vise grips or small bench vise

A hole reamer, which you can purchase at an arts and crafts store that sells beading supplies. You can try a needle or a nail. Sometimes that works.

It's called a bead reamer and can be purchased at most craft supply stores in the beading/jewelry aisle.

Id use a drill piece then slowly turn it with your hands not in the drill so as not to break it.
