can someone please explain to me detailed how to play seven hand poker. in step by step directions. SEVEN HAND POKER (like the one on msn). also what the card values are (low to high) high card, pair, two pair....ect.?

Seven hand poker:
Set out 7 coins on the table. Each player draws 8 cards to begin. On your turn, you pick a poker hand which can contain anywhere from 1 to 5 cards. You hold this face down on the table and tell your opponent how many cards there are in the hand. Your opponent then tells you where to place the hand. After placing the hand, you draw 3 cards from the deck to replenish your hand. It is then your opponent's turn.
When there are two hands on a single coin (one for you, one for your opponent), you flip them face up and compare them. The better hand gets the coin. A tie results in both of you getting the coin for that spot. The winner is the first player to collect 4 coins OR collect 3 consecutive coins (3 coins next to each other.) Have fun!

7 card poker ... you get 7 cards, but only use the best five to win the hand (and the pot). The poker hands still apply.

7 card stud
Everyone antes
Each player is dealt two cards face down and one card face up. Lowest card has to open for the minimum bet. Each player can then fold(leave the hand), call(match the bet), or raise (raise the bet and everyone has to match it)
when this is done a second face up card is dealt to everyone. Highest hand showing starts the betting. He can check (bet zero) or bet. If he bets, everone has to fold, call, or raise. If he checks, the next guy has to check or bet. If everyone checks we go to the next card
5th card same as 4th
6th card same as 5th
7th card is face down ... highest hand showing still leads the betting
Best 5 card hand wins -- you only use 5 of your 7 cards)

high card: (AK972)
pair: (88742)
2 pair: (JJKK3)
3 of a kind: (33396)
straight: (45678)
flush: (5 cards of same suit - 36892 all hearts)
full house (3 of a kind + a pair - 555KK)
four of a kind (77779)
straight flush (45678 all same suit)
royal flush (TJQKA all same suit)
