Yes i had to have an early scan to kind of determine the fetal age cuz we didnt know when i concieved. Every babys sacs are different. Depending on your true fetal age as well! The scans give a 6 day grace period either way so your babys could be going away or thats just the shape it took on!! Congrats

That sounds normal to me... We had a scan at around 10 weeks and, according to my 4 year old son, the baby looked 'Like an alien baby!". They do kind of start out looking like tadpoles.

I had a ultrasound at 4 weeks and it was a round ball with a darker round ball in the center (nucleus).
At 6 weeks an amazing change had occurred the round ball suddenly had a tail (like a tadpole).
You are going to be amazed at how fast this baby is growing.
Good Luck!

hi ive had a number of the indoors scans and it sounds like it is going to likely be an inner you will get while you're in effortless terms 6 weeks. i mandatory them as I extremely have had 2 miscarriages, the 2d grow to be extremely early and that i grow to be in the comparable boat as you had to attend until eventually at last i reached 6 weeks for the indoors as they wouldnt be waiting to make certain something in the previous then. going with an entire bladder is a waste of time because of the fact they get you to empty your bladder in the previous they'll do an inner. truthfully what they do is, they get you to lie on a mattress with your backside on the top of it and that they placed a stool on the backside of the mattress which you could place your ft on, so as that your knees are at a right perspective, they enable you realize to take a seat down back (marvelous i understand as though thats going to be effortless) they then have what looks like a felt tip length scanner ingredient that the hide with a condom and lubricate it with gel and insert it into your vagina, you're given a towel to drape over your abdomen, legs and knees. the midwife/s will basically circulate it around until eventually at last they might see what they're finding for, you will get the alternative whether or no longer you prefer to look on the demonstrate screen too. they'll then print out some photos of what grow to be seen and thats it. it in effortless terms takes approximately 5 minutes tops. attempt to no longer get too under pressure approximately it they have achieved this a million circumstances in the previous, its no longer any worse than a smear try yet needless to say its no longer the nicest place to be in. sturdy success desire all is going nicely for you

Mine looked like tadpoles! It's normal! The big end is their head and the little end is their toes.
