I burned a few cd's and tried to play them on my laptop, but the laptop doesnt recognize the cd. It keeps say Ive inserted a blank disc however the cds play just fine of my stereo. Any suggestions would be great.

you have to make sure your CD drive can read burn discs

or CD-RW drive to find out what kind of drive do the following

right click on my computer then click on properties

next click on the hardware tab and then select device manager

then click on the CD-ROM drives and it will list what you have for a CD ROM Drive.

of course computers from roughly 2000 and on are CD-RW compatible.

Of course make sure your lens is clean and the CD's are not scratch either.

First, make sure the CD drive on your laptop is working correctly. Try an original CD. If it doesn't work the drive may be bad or need to be cleaned.

Stereo doesn't care but laptop needs it.
