How do you break the news to your parents?

Are they going to be pleased for you? If so, surprise them over lunch... do something daft like give them a matinee jacket knitting pattern and tell them they've got to get knitting....

Don't go to them with a "might" and get them all upset and worked up. Wait until you are sure before you say anything. Go to the parent you are closest to, first, and then the two of you can sit down and talk to the other one.

I'm telling you right now, go and take the test. Depending on your relationship with your parents, it could go both ways, also depending on how old you are.

With my boyfriend, we used a condom every single time, and I thought nothing of it. My period skipped, and I started freaking. I blamed it on stressed, and thank god it was. Basically, I had to go with my boyfriend to get the test, and it came out negative. My period skipped for FOUR MONTHS before I got it again. And because I was stressing so much over being pregnant, it skipped more then it might have...

Go take the test. Buy two or three and take them witha day in between to make sure. If it comes out positive, tell your parents.

First you must find out if you are or not. Get a pregnancy test and have the guy pay for it. If you are then you have to be honest and tell your parents stait up, they can help you. If your not, go get on some birth control before you do. Remember that you and you alone are responsible for not getting pregnant if you don't want to. DO NOT leave it in the guys hands. He could leave you to suffer through alone and to raise a child on your own. Its very serious situation that is easier for him to get out of than you. Take care, your body is your temple.

I took two tests and they were positive. The only people I told were my sister and my husband. I waited to tell everybody else until I went to the doctor to be absolutely sure I was pregnant. When I told my mother-in-law she was like, "Well it's about time!" even though me and my husband hadn't been together for that long at the time. My mom said, "I KNEW IT!" Both his family and my family were happy but not shocked at all. I thought it was strange that they weren't surprised but whatever.

first thing you must do is get a hpt and see if you really are pregnant before you even tell your parents. and if you are just sit them down and tell them, they might be upset for a while but they will be there for you. good luck.

If you are close to your mom the you need to go to her for help, (most) moms love there little girls and would not like to think of you going through trying to find out on your own.

Just tell them that you know what you did and are willing to stand up and take care of that baby inside you. You should take a test before you tell them though.
