hey, i just need everyones honest opinion!!! ive hated the new york ranger for a long time and they have been our rivals, but now each and everygame, im starting to hate pittsburg more and more. Do any of u think that the Penguins have just made themselves a new rival? The Devils? i think so. 2 games ago with these two teams, roberts nailed lukowich with and elbow and didnt get called for it, then in ottawa, roberts hit corvo from behind and no call, then last night in new york, avery ets pushed into the goalie and gets a penalty and roberts gets lucky with a few calls that the idiot refs who support pittsburg never call. I was hoping that pittsburg would take their but ugly uniforms and go to kansas city so then the west can deal with those refs. OH well! The Challenge is on Crosby, Malkin and roberts who i hate the most. Im beggining to feel that Ovechkin Matured earlier than crosby!!! Devils Rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think in the oncoming years the Pens are going to be the team thats going to be fighting with the Devils for the division (which is scary as a devils fan). So naturally a rivarly will form, but you cant beat a NJ/NY rivarly. I did actually root for the Rangers last night to beat the Pens.

Also why is it that the Devils get the bad rep for shitty attendence. Washington, Chicago, NYI, and St. Louis are all below the Devils in attendance this season. Boston and Phoenix are only ahead by a few hundred too.

The NYR/NJD rivalry cannot be rivaled by any other since rivalries are built on playoff matches and the devils and pens have not really had the chance to develop animosity through the playoffs since the Pens rarely made the playoffs while the devils made it every year. That will change and become a big rivalry because for the next couple of years the Pens and devils will routinely be fighting for the top spot in the Atlantic and making the playoffs and with the devils having the best goaltender and the pens having some great offense its going to be a good rivalry when it becomes a reality. Right now though the NYR/NJD are a whole different hockey game where the intensity is ratcheted up to a whole new level. By the way I also think Crosby gets too much attention even though Ovechkin is just as good as as Crosby as Crosby has a much better team around him that has alot more first round draft picks as opposed to the Caps who have just Semin and Ovechkin for the most part.

Since there are only 2 or 3 Devils fans that actually show up to your games, I will stand with you.

Although you don't know how to spell Pittsburgh, your reasoning is sound. The Rangers (evil as they are) are not going to be your arch Nemesis for a few more years and the Pens will be.

So, since my second favorite team is the Devils, I would love to see years of torment between the two clubs; kinda like what Pittsburghhhhh used to do to the Caps every April.

Problem is I just can't hate the Devils. I respect their skill and always have enjoyed watching Martin stand on his head. The fact that they still manage to dominate with that boring trap style in the new era NHL is amazing. So if the Pens don't win the cup, I will be rooting for your (our) Devil's.

The fan's popular participant is continually the backup QB. The Dallas followers were crying all year about needing Romo to play all season and he stunk it up. sure, he had 2 TD's, yet those 3 INT's were all terrible. the first one (which replaced into also the first play), replaced right into a wobbly duck that could want to were horribly incomplete if it weren't tipped then picked off. the single at the same time as he tried to emphasize the exhibit replaced into severe Schoolesque. His RB replaced into surrounded by ability of three Giants. you should understand to throw that away on the pro aspect. at the same time as I wasn't searching ahead to Romo to bypass for 250 with 3 TD's and no INT's in the 2d 1/2, he did not look any more beneficial useful then Bledsoe. As a aspect note, i respect how T.O. basically laughed off that dropped bypass on 4th and short, yet when it may were some rook WR doing that, he may were pissing and crying about how each body isn't doing their job. He makes that capture and possibilities are severe they a minimum of get a FG because TO may are starting to be an more beneficial 5-10 yards minimum and that play replaced into the emotional sport changer. T.O. has 6 drops this season and may start up searching in the reflect as to the struggles of the team, instead of what he suggested in the interviews after the game the position he suggested the protection wasn't making the performs and that we, the offense, did not lead them to. How about them (falling aside and probably no longer making the playoffs) Cowboys?

While there may be some heated games with the Pens, it can't match the rivalry that any of the NY/NJ teams have with each other. If both teams continue to do well and meet during the playoffs each year then you will see more of rivalry develope between the teams and their fans.

I already see answers from the Rangers fans whose mouths are full of sour grapes. That right there answers your question. The Rangers are the biggest rival of the Devils fro all time, because of their moronic fans. They talk about the great history of their team and I laugh every team. History of tenth place. Go Devils!
