i would like to ask the ladies that have unplanned pregnancies what protection they used and if they used it correctly. for statistics...

1)Was young and stupid and thought for sure I couldn't get pregnant..
2)Had just stopped breastfeeding and my depo had stopped that same month.
3)Pull out method-we just had a little to much fun:-]

Three unplanned pregnancies. With the first, I used the birth control pill Ortho-Tri-Cyclen, I took it perfectly, I was never off by more than an hour. With my second, it was a condom, and I don't know what happened, they never leaked or broke, but one of them must have been flawed. We didn't use protection with this third one.

My husband and I were only using condoms when we conceived....on vacation and drinking alcohol led to an unplanned pregnancy....ooooops.
My sister's unplanned pregnancy was being on the birth control pill, but taking antibiotics.

The first time was with no protection. My husband (boyfriend at the time) thought he was sterile since none of his previous girlfriends got pregnant. This one was conceived with the Mirena IUD, just two months before it was due to be changed. It was used correctly for all five years it was in.

Zovia - birth control as part of treatment for PCOS. I was told that I would have trouble conceiving so we were sure that while I was on birth control, we were fine.
After going to the doctor for a two week stomach ache, I found out that the .1% really means something...
I am due the first week of August.

The pill. Twice. The first time, I was using Orthotricyclin, and the second time, Ovcon.
I took them at the same time each day, EVERY day, and STILL got pregnant.

The first time I was not using any protection.
The second time I was breastfeeding and on the mini pill(cerazette)

First time got pregnant, wasn't on anything, was told I most likely couldn't have kids (boy was that dr wrong)
second time, was on NuvaRing and it came out

Correctly, condoms. My friend was condoms and pills, correctly. Her twin was pills, correctly.
