ok i had my first dr app. last week and was 6 weeks well now i am 7 weeks and 2 days and at my first app. they had me give a urine sample...blood test...hiv test...talked to me and that was pretty much it so what should i expect next dr. app. i hate not knowing what to expect....

well the next time they will go over the results with you...have you do a urine sample..take your weight...blood pressure and check the babys heart and ask if you are having any problems..good luck and congrats..

For the next appointments they usually do one or more of these things...
*check your weight
*have you give a urine sample
*listen for the heart beat
*talk about your questions/concerns
*measure your tummy
*more lab work (during later stages of pregnancy)
I am not sure when they check you inside but I think it is a few times during the whole pregnancy. Depending on what is going on with you & your pregnancy. Hope this helped a bit :)

They will ask you how you feel and they may try to hear the heart beat but they may not be able to. They might review your medical history, do a full exam (unless you did that at your first one), height and weight check, discuss lab results, possibly have more blood tests, and maybe discuss having an ultrasound.

I know they will want to measure your uterus other than that I think they will just do the same things again

next appointment they may be checking for the heartbeat, they will check your weight and measure your stomach.
