slope is -1/4
y-intercept is 2
Remember, always the number multiplied with x in an equation is the slope.
the number without any variable is the Y-intercept.

The slope is calculated by the following formula:
m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1) where (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) are two points belonging to the line.
In this case the slope is -1/4 determined by finding two (x,y) points (there is an infinity of points to choose from) that are solutions to the ecuation (y=-1/4x+2):
(0,2) and (4,1)

(2-1)/(0-4) = -1/4 = -0,25

The OY axis intersect is achieved when the x component of the line is 0. In this case when x=0 => y=2 so the point where the line intersects the OY axis is (0,2)

-1/4 is the slope and the y-intercept is 2

By the way the slope will always be the answer with the varible.
Good luck. 8^)
