Mine did the same thing, he gained about 10 lbs. They say if you're having a boy this is more likely to happen (though i don't buy that...even though we're having a boy).
You know how women who live together get their periods at the same time? I think men can also be susceptible to hormone changes, hence the sympathy weight.

My hisband gain 30 lbs. when I was pregnant with our first son. He ate more during the day when we were not with eachother and I worked nights so I would find the occasional bowl of cereal left next to the nightstand when I got home. Don't worry about it, I always thought maybe it was he was nervous with you being pregnant and he didnt know how to deal with it? Hoped this has helped!
Congrats with the new addition!

Mine has too, although it's my fault because I make us much bigger dinners than I used to and allow some sweets in the house.
He's going to be in for a shock once I've had the baby and the careful eating and exercise starts again!

Ahhhhhhh sympathy weight!!!
My husband is gaining right along with me!! :)
I think it's because I indulge in more foods than before...cravings for all kinds of things hit me and he's the one going with me to the restaurants, bakeries, and late night grocery trips...he usually gets something for himself or eats what I get (which normally isn't healthy!).
