Limo company failed to pick up on way to airport. Had to drive and park. Cost $400 for parking when we returned. Any recourse?

I actually had a confirmation for both the pickup and return, and had arranged weeks prior, and confirmed pickup 2 days before trip was scheduled.

The agreement does state that I would have to pay them if I canceled less than 24hrs prior to the pickup

Whether you can sue for breach of contract is dependent upon the law of your state. Given the relatively low cost of a small claims action, exploring the possibility seems worthwhile.

The answer above is incorrect insofar as it states that you can't form a contract without you being obligated to pay whether you used their services or not. There is no such limitation in most states' contract law. A contract can be formed based on a promise to perform in exchange for a promise to pay.

Probably not.

The limo company would only be liable if you can prove they knew you would incur those expenses. And if they had contractually promised to pick you up in the first place.

Just placing a call to the service does not create a contact, unless you were legally obligated to pay them whether you actually used their service or not.
