Okay this will sound weird but I am only 2 weeks pregnant and my belly is sticking out like a ball. Background: I'm 110 lbs 5 ft. I did the IUI under my RE's care. I took Bravelle injections prior to the IUI and I think there were only two mature follicles that I know of. I tested with an OTC pregancy kit on day 10 and 12 and both came back positive. On day 12 my doctor took a blood test and that came back positive as well. So all seems fine except my belly feels so dense, thick, heavy, and big. Are these after effects of my overly stimulated ovaries, i.e. the drugs? I'm currently taking progesterone. My other discomforts are burping a lot and sore breasts. Oh, and I can't eat too much cause I feel full right away. Thanks for any input.

Bloating and gas. Your uterus is still way, way inside your pelvic bone and won't pop over the top until about 12 weeks.

since you are so small even the slightest bit of bloat and water weight is going to show on you. It is possible to that due to the hormones your body has started storing extra fat your body will need as the baby grows. Be happy and proud of your little pudge you have been though a lot to get it. Congratulations Mommy. As for the burping eat peppermints will help aid digestion and stop some of it. For sore breast there isnt much you can do but wear a good supportive bra. Check and see if you need a larger cup size already my breasts grew a lot the first 6 weeks of pregnancy

I'm short and have uterine fibroids and I show early with every single pregnancy. You could have some swelling due to all the hormones you've been on, yes indeed. Plus being short you're more likely to show earlier than a taller woman. It's mostly hormonal at this point, and the gas can be soothed with Gas X or Simethicone chewables. Your boobs are going to be sore, so get used to it. And they might get itchy when they get bigger, due to the stretching skin, same with your belly getting itchy. You should eat small meals throughout the day anyway, so just eat little snacks and small meals so you're not overly full and uncomfortable. Even half a slice of toast filled me up!

It is most likely water weight/bloating. It will subside. Trust me, i felt the same way, sometimes it's your imagination playing with you, you most likely won't see a bump until 3-4 months and even then it will be a little one. But, as far as the eating goes, i am a big girl, and usually eat you know, a normal dinner, but lately, i've been eating about a 1/4 of what i normally eat because i feel full always. But in any case congrats and Goooooood Luck

If you were 2 weeks pregnant then that would mean you just conceived this week and are in the implantaton stage. Maybe you mean you are 4 weeks pregnant, since you are supposed to count from the first day of your period. The first 2 weeks you are not really pregnant. There is no way you are showing yet, it must be from something else.

You might just be gassy and bloated, in my first few weeks i thought I was gaining all this weight then after a few weeks my body settled itself down and all the excess fluid flushed out and returned to normal, Im still not showing at 11 weeks, probably hormones changing goodluck!

Its normal bloating hun. You say you're 2 weeks pregnant? Are you two weeks into your cycle? Or are you two weeks post ovulation? Because that would actually make you 4 weeks pregnant (just for your info. It doesn't make much sense does it? Lol). I know they check earlier when doing fertility treatments, but I was just curious.
Anway, best of luck to you!!

I would wager that it is just water and gas from the hormones. If it isn't gone by morning, call a doctor.
