hi, ive found that the best way is to get a clean dish, put a tiny amount of any washing up liquid and pour boiling hot water into it, leave your gold soak for about an hour, then when the water is cold give it a litle scrub with a nail scrub and it should come out looking brand spanking new! My sister also reckons a bit of vinegar instead of washing up liquid. Hope this helps.

this is going to sound stupid but use toothpaste I have found it works better than lots of jewelery cleaners. get some cheap toothpaste like colgate squirt a little bit on a toothbrush and scrub whatever it is rinse well and tell me if it doesnt shine up really nice.
but...
The best jewelery cleaner is ammonia, its cheap and usually found around the house. Watch the fumes though and keep it off your skin. Rinse in cold water

If you just make up a mixture in a cup or something of warm water and some washing up liquid, make sure you mix it though.... don't use too much washing up liquid though.... and just leave your jewellery in it for about an hour. When you take it out, lay it on some tissue and dab it dry..it will make it clean and sparkly :o)

Warm water and dish washing liquid and with a very soft brush if you have to get into little corners to dislodge accumulated dust. Gold does not tarnish so you have only to address the removal of collected debris that accumulates from the atmosphere.

Try a jewellery cleaner. If its something with diamonds on/in it try cleaning these with vodka, they come up a treat.

You can soak the gold jewelry in Windex for about 1/2 hour.

fill a bowl with soapy water..
soak your gold jewellery..
then scrub with a toothbrush.
rinse welll....in a bowl of fresh water...
( be careful if you wash & rinse in a sink....you don't want your jewellery going down the drain)

Plain old fashioned toothpaste and a really soft toothbrush. It's cheap, readily available and it works.
