I give a lot of thought to the future, planning ahead gives me hope. It also gives me things to look forward to. But I also try to be happy in the here and now, because it's really all I've got. Right now I'm longing to have someone to plan things with, so each day I try to make that goal come true by planning for it to happen as much as I possibly can.

I give a lot of thought to my future every day. I try not to dwell on it too much because I'm worried that I'll miss out on the present if I spend too much time thinking about the future, but I am very excited about the future and am really enjoying working toward it.

*This does not mean that I'm not enjoying the present. A very wise person once told me that the best way to achieve the future that you want is to start living that future in as many ways as possible right now.

I live from day to day at the mo but then again I'm probably to young to be thinking of the long term future.

I think people can sometimes live to much for the future rather then paying attention to whats going on with them right now. Sometimes living for the future can be easier then facing the reality of your current present when in fact, living for your current present makes the reality of the future easier.

I find that a comfortable balance between the two is the best policy.

I'm an organized person, but I don't plan too far into the future; things can change in a hurry. That doesn't mean people shouldn't plan, it just means you have to be able to roll with changes and not be too rigid.

I basically live in the present, taking things as they come, but having a general "course" in mind.

I think you can not really plan your future. You can not plan the things to happen to you, but you can make a goal of the type of person you want to be. Then you have your long term idea of the future and you live day to day to achieve it:).

The future is as much as a lifetime or as little as a second away. You should always have something to look forward to, a goal or something that makes your life and what you do with it worthwhile. If we're not looking ahead then what else is there? Future man, future...

I live day to day because I never know when my life will be taken away from me. So for right now i will focus on now and let tomorrow's worries wait till the next day!
