Intuition alone won't help you make a decision. (If you mean by this, non-intellectual). Feelings & intellect are equally balanced. Sometimes, it seems one is more powerful than the other, (if we let it be). I've found that simply typing my stream of consciousness, in all truth--brings insights from both. Also, when you REALLY draw a blank, it may be best to put the decision aside & not "worry" it. At the most unpredictable moments, "something" will ring a bell. I'd suggest not forcing the decision, & most definitely realizing that there is more than one part of you that can come to "clarity."

Brian storm...write down your feelings on a piece of paper until you cannot think any more about what you have to deiced on...and just keep writing even if you get off topic then after you have filled up a couple of pages read what you wrote and see if you have more pros or cons on the paper usually without thinking you are already slanted in the direction of your intuition.

In my opinion, the best way to tap into your intuition is by doing something to relax. Like meditation, soft music...a setting where you can clear your mind. Whatever suits you best. I've found that sometimes just sitting still, in a place where I know I won't be interupted, and thinking about everything that's bothering me, really helps. This way, you aren't pushing it to the back of your mind where it can still bother you.
I also think that making a list of pro's and con's really helps :).

Too late for that. Intuition kicked in when you were presented with the decision. Sorry, you missed it.

well, when this happens i get in my groove of "the next thing is and will be". all known decisions and thoughts are "instantaneous, irreversible, and at full value". the next thought simply is. the first reaction is the reaction. one is the beginning. two is the conclusion. behavior is thus a graph of highs and lows with points recognized and dots connected with lines. desire to not make a mistake is not a good enough reason not to act, however moderate.

Meditate for 20 minutes with no interruptions (peace & quiet), this will relax your body and mind and let you think clearer, your intuition will tell you the right thing to do.
