I don't fear the government as much as I fear the complacency of the United states citizens. Especially the ones who refuse to educate themselves but instead argue with their opinions and no facts to back up the things they say. Our citizens couldn't handle the truth if it was laid out on a silver platter in front of them. "Our country would never do that (9-11) to its own citizens."
Bulls*** it wouldn't! Be afraid of our government because they represent us the people, and we should be very afraid of ourselves for not standing our ground and questioning what is happening. Instead it's easier for us to just willingly accept what propoganda feeds us, and stay in the dark with our heads in the sand. The American people are not capable of thinking their own thoughts because they are cowards who won't question authority. Our US soldiers are dying every day in a god forsaken land of dust and despair, for people who want to kill them, and we just sit back and watch the stories and events unfold as if we are watching it on TV. This is not a docudrama, it's the US. Please, wake up people...don't trust the government until you can trust your own neighbor and ultimately yourself.

I have great fear of the gov. All government is only good at doing two things, giving you rights and taking them away. But probably as a recent example of why I fear this government or more this administration is its complete disregard for our right to privacy.
Due to recent acts passed by the bush administration and the former republican congress, the gov. now has the right to tap your phones and watch your Internet activity.

I do not fear the government at all. If anything, I have concerns over the mindset they present to the people. And I will speak out against an unhealthy mindset.

I don't fear the government, but I fear the slippery path that the republicans have been trying to take us down is the path to destruction.
