The words of Neitzsche were spoken to me several times. These two quotes are the best advice I have ever recieved:
"That which does not kill us makes us stronger."
"This too shall pass."
My hero and mentor spoke these words to me in a time of great trouble for me. They stick to the inside of my skull like they were tatooed there. Words of wisdom from a woman that I love.

The best advice I have ever received is out of Voltaire. At the end Candide he writes, "... we must cultivate our gardens." Ultimately meaning that we should always take care of the things that we need to take care of, and let everyone else do the same.

Hum... good question, its hard to say really, believe it or not, most of the best advice is in songs, they really inspire me and help me see sense about whatever the subject of the song was about, and movie too
