It was the movie "Three men and a Baby" and it is just urban legend. The "ghost" of the boy is just a cut-out of Ted Danson's chararcter in a tux that can be seen in the window. It was done on an episode of the show "MythBusters"

its a movie not an episode. Yes you can see something, i dont know if i would say a ghost. its suppose to be an adult.
