for example, i was watching espn a couple of days ago, and a college basketball team was being interviewed. . . the reporter/interviewer in the crowd asks i guess a question similar to the question prior and one of the basketball players answers "I just told you" "i already told you" in such a negative tone. . . also when i play basketball at the park, a lot of black people will put others down and just cuss/yell at their face if they committed a turnover or did something wrong they didn't like

I think the question is why are a good amount of basketball players so rude. Have you ever watched Jerry Springer there are a bunch of white people who are doing the same thing being loud, disrespectful and mean. People are people there are good ones and bad ones I really think that you need to meet be REAL friends with (not just I know a black guy) more people of different races/backgrounds before you make such judgmental ideas about a group of people.

Extra Side note: when you are playing a game with your friends (pending you are good or competitive) I bet you argue plays too and even do a little smak talk.

I agree with the first poster. How can you draw such a huge generalization on what some black buttholes say on the basketball court?

You need to get out more and stop stereotyping.

Everyone, no matter white, black, Hispanic....
all can be loud a time or two.
Talking "smack" is a mechanism for intimidation.
The only reason you find it a problem in the black citizens is because...you're intimidated.

Really!! Never heard of such things. Maybe you need to check your sources. There aren't many loud, disrespectful, and mean blacks where I live. It's the same in every culture. Welcome to the real world. Peace

Cultural and domestic dysfunctions like absentee male parents and poor-quality role models are major contributors.

They don't know how to act civilly or respectfully because nobody ever taught them.

If the reporter was redundant, he deserved the put down. As far as B-Ball, everyone talks trash, it's part of the game.

There are just as many white, chinese, hispanics etc. that act the same way. It's not about their race, but on how they are raised and their mentality.
