Can I travel by train from Riverside, CA to Grants Pass, OR?

Not directly.
You could get on at Riverside, and take the train to Dunsmuir, CA or Klamath Falls, OR then take greyhound to Grants Pass.
Would still beat taking a bus the whole way.

Check with Amtrak. It goes through Siskiyou County at the top of the state, but then it goes over to Klamath Falls, OR. You may have to do a combination of train and busses.
