i'm 16. my hair is thinning. and as you know..having nice hair is a major part of being a girl.

could the stress of school, weight issues, not so great self-esteem or confidence, not being able to talk to anyone about it all be the reason?

if so, how do i combat my stress to stop my hair from slipping away?

Vitamin E has helped me quite abit. Stress poor eating habits, and as mentioned thyroid issues can be blamed. You need to talk to your doctor immediately as hair is usually a good indicator of overall health.

Well stress does reflect itself on the body. Hair gets thinner and sometimes you loose some of it. The thinning may also be because of your diet. Eat healthy things and drink water more often. All these really paid off for me. Don't keep your stress inside you. It's unhealthy. Find a way to get rid of it. Appreciating yourself gives you positive energy, your body will take it's strength from it.

Your hair loss is more likely to be from your thyroid.
Go see your doctor for a complete work up and medication.
