Just concentrate on the top tier closers. Try to get at least two guys that won't be in jeopardy of losing their jobs.

Rivera
Hoffman
Wagner

No question, the most solid closer out that has been tested over the years is Mariano Rivera. Nathan is a close second but, as with all closers, until they put up 4-5 great seasons without an injury or total collapse, you can't be totally sure (see Gagne).
Rodriguez with the Angels would be 3rd on the list given what he's shown the last few years.
After that, its difficult. But Ryan, Ray, Fuentes and Street are all decent choices.

No debate on this, Nathan, Rodriguez and Rivera are #1 thru #3. That said, there are plenty of good early round closers to be had, namely Ray, Hoffmann, Street, Jenks, Putz, Wagner and Ryan, whom should also keep thier jobs and play well. Some safe but not great picks are Gordon, and Lidge, whom are both prone to meltdowns. Fuentes is a very talented closer but is likely to be traded mid season and may or may not closer where he lands.

As far as not so sure things, there is plenty to go around. You will likely be pretty solid with either of the Corderos, and it is also likely that Pinero and Hansen will battle each other out of a closers job meaning that Papelbon will regain his role from last year. When this happens he is up there right after the big 3. It will happen.... well, should. Dempster is a good closer but watch out for the possible scenario of Wood taking his job, which may well happen. Wood has the bigger name.

On that note, stay away from Gagne and Wickman. I think Otsuka will take Gagnes job, and newly acquired Gonzalez will take Wickmans. As for the rest of the closers, it is a real crapshoot. Borowski just plain blows, Isringhausen and Jones are both old and beat and Lindstrom and Saito are unproven and raw. Benitez is god awful, and Valverde is very, very inconsistent. Dotel needs to prove he can bounce back.

There are a few other jobs up for grabs, and right now it appears that Miceli, Weathers and Marte might win the closers role for thier respective clubs and could be worth late, late round picks, but remember, never overpay for anyone not in the first paragraph of this answer. Enjoy!!!!

Try Jonathan Paplebon for the Red Sox or Jonathan Broxton from the Dodgers

Just get 2 or 3 that won't lose their jobs. Everyone else is expendable.
