right click on the files or folders and click on delete. be careful you don't delete a system file or you are in big trouble.

if you aren't sure what files are system files leave them alone and get someone else to do that for you.

there's no shame in asking for help. better safe now than sorry later.

Just go to your control panel - go to add/delete software and you should be able to tell what you want to delete. Program files are pretty easy to see so that you don't 'accidentally' delete them. Usually any file that has an .exe extension is a program file - just look at the name and determine whether it's something you want to keep or not.

First thing you can do is reboot the entire system. Now this will restore it back to the original factory default.
Or
Go under control panel add or remove program.
Or
Go to system cleanup under accessory and when the box appeared click on what you want to delete. Especially temporary internet files.
Or
Go to staples, officemax, compusa etc. or any electronic place in your area ask them what software can you buy to clean up files for good. Good Luck.
Rogue.

Well, in order to delete something permanantly, you do need to clean out the hard drive. However, a temporary solution is to get rid of cookies and certain folders. Go to tools, internet options, and delete cookies/delete files. If you aren't sure what you want to delete or keep, go to tools, internet options, settings, and view files.
Hope that helps somehow...

I'm no computer wiz but you can try going to search..type in jpeg..briefly look at the files there then select all and delete. Do the same with mpeg. That will delete pictures and videos.
