I can find plenty of patterns for sewing a dog bone shaped pillow or something like that, but I need a pattern or fabric itself with little dog bones all over the fabric.
I googled it, but couldn't find anything except doggie bandanas, but I don't want anything for a dog.

I haven't checked lately, but I've seen them before at WalMart, Jo-Ann's Fabrics, Michaels, & Hobby Lobby.

I found a free pattern on the internet.... think I can find it again!!!! anyway, the pattern, basically (any size) looks like 2 hearts at each end and a straight part in the middle. With that said, make 2 hearts (the width of the size of the bone you want to make), don't make a "deep" center in the heart, just a nice dip. then cut out a rectangle and tape the rectangle over the heart to give the end of the bone appearance.

http://www.gotfabric.com/fabric_shop/... has some. You might also check http://www.joann.com or http://www.hancockfabric.com and search for "dog" or "bone". E-bay also had some for auction. If the doggie bandannas are full size you could maybe use them for fabric if you liked the patterns

Try your local fabric supply store. Sometimes they can special order fabric if they don't have what you need. Otherwise try ebay - they seem to have everything!

try:

http://www.hancocks-paducah.com/ItemList--search-dog-bone.html

http://www.quiltknit.com/fabrics/index.html

http://www.quiltfabric.com

the last 2 you will have to punch in 'dog bone' in the search box.
