My daughters would love to go to the premier. I'm assuming it's a Disneyland like the last one. We are season passholders and I would love to get to see the red carpet. Can regular people get in to the premier? How does it work? Advice anyone?

Thanks!!

Us "Regular" people can't get into the actual premier. That is for the Hollywood and VIP Crowd. There will probably be several contests that will give you a chance to get in but that would be the luck of the draw.

I don't think it has been offically announced but it appears that it will be happening on May 19th, because as in the past the Disneyland Calendar has them opening up at 6:30am and closing at 5pm. So they should have the Red Carpet Arrivals as they have had for the last two.

I beleive that all passes except Premium are blocked out that day, so if you don't have a Premium pass you will need to purchase a blockout ticket. Be there that morning at opening to get a good spot. Then be prepared to keep your space the entire day. As it gets closer to the evening or so it will get very tough to hold spaces if all of your group is not there.

Last year they were running late(I beleive it was about 2 hours late) so the people at the end of the Red Carpet did not get to see all of the stars as they were shuffled through to get to the movie. So if you want a good spot get it as close to the beginning as possible.

My friend has gone to the last two. She has the second to highest pass, but it was blocked out so she had to buy a regular pass into the park. She got there at 5 or 6 in the morning I believe and got a very good seat in the park (the park didn't open until 8 or 9). She was able to see a lot of the stars and get a lot of their autographs. I'm hoping I can go this time too. It would be majorly fun!

If you like the red carpet stuff, then go for it, but other than being invited or an employee, you can't stay beyond the red carpet. Although recently they have tried to keep the east side of the park (Fantasyland, Tomorrowland), open for longer than New Orleans/Critter Country/Adventureland/Frontierland so you can have a decent day at the park.

For the record, even employees' free entrance to the park won't work that day. I work there and that's a major letdown...

Other than that.... I second what the first guy said.

i do not imagine that's worth it in case you at the prompt are not likely to work out the action picture yet hey, the strains for the rides may be thoroughly empty. the hollow of the Christmas Parade emptied the strains very last year. imagine what the pink carpet will do.(Trails into deep idea then marks calender with vivid pink highlighter.) :-)
