Mission Hills, Point Loma, Old Town. I lived in Normal Heights for several years (it's by the 8 and 805 above the valley). They have a huge arts/crafts/music festival there every September. And there are some nifty restaurants along Adams Ave. Pacific Beach, Mission Beach and Ocean Beach can be a little rough, but are fun places to visit. Enjoy! It's a beautiful place to live!
