The Iraq civil/sectarian war would continue. Eventually, one side or the other would gain dominance and establish a government by supressing the other side.
Whether the winning side would be a govt the US approves of is unknown at this time. Then again, we approved of Saddam 20 years ago, so everything is subject to change over time.

If we've been to pull our troops out suited now, then the 1st factor is we'd be telling the excellent international that we are going to no longer end anymore. we've become susceptible and we are ripe for assaults. I concern for our troop over there are not getting me incorrect, yet i think of we'd desire to stay there to end this. If we come domicile then the terrorists that are right here could have the skill to get the intelligence that they've been lacking to accomplish a attack in this u . s .. each and every time they plan some sort of attack right here on the grounds that 9-11 we've stopped them. We bypass away Iraq then they're going to regroup like no longer something ever till now and could carry out assaults right here. i do no longer desire to work out something like that undesirable day lower back right here in this u . s .. i'm ill of those democrates no longer helping our troops with the help of threatening to withhold money if Bush would not set a schedule. If we try this then they wait till that day and as quickly as we bypass away they attack us puzzling and robust. we'd desire to artwork at the same time, however the genuine evil empire in this u . s .(DEMS notice they're the donkey) they only won't supply up attempting to scare the folk in this u . s . into questioning that we are in greater possibility while in certainty no longer something has happened right here on the grounds that 9-11.

There might be continued civil war. The main difference between that and now is that we're not caught in the crossfire.
We wouldn't be making the situation worse, we wouldn't get shot at, and private contractors wouldn't be sucking our taxpayers and the people of Iraq dry, either.
The main thing is our troops would come home, they'd stopped being used as sacrificial bullseyes, and the US presence and actions would no longer be a recruiting tool for terrorists.

The civil war willl continue until one side or the other establishes control. Probably with a fairly radical Islamic state. What happens beyond that depends ( as far as the USA is concerned) depends on whether or not we start acting responsibly in the region. But there will be no long--term "disaster" for the United States such as Bush claims--unless we bring it on ourselves by continuing to play the bully.
If we stay, the results will be the same--except more troops will die--and the situation will eventually escalate into a reagional, and possibly global conflict.

That would depend upon where they went when they leave. Bush's paradigm is that they come home and the terrorists stage a new attack on us, that might be true. However, if they begin seek-and-destroy missions on terrorists training camps then I'd say we'd be improving our national security. Just sitting where we are is an absurd waste of lives, manpower, money and equipment. If we're going to fight a war on terror then let's get on with it and leave Iraq to solve their own problems.

Most likely Iraq's slide into civil war would happen sooner rather than later; the troops currently present are probably slowing it down slightly.

The civil war that is already taking place would quicken and we would end up with 3 separate Iraqi states. Iran would gain influence and become the dominant power in the region.

only thing I can think of is we won't be fighting their civil war anymore. My guess is they will continue to, althugh it will not be with as many non Iraqis involved (both insurgents and americans) and they will have to decide the destiny and fate of their own country. Like everyone before them, including the US. No democracy has ever come at the hands of another's gov't handing it over

Probably 100,000 children would needlessly die. Maybe 2-3 million otherwise decent people would feel anger toward the United States.
Maybe another country -- like one of the good ones -- would save the day.

Escalation of civil war, possible overt entry of Iran into such conflict, possible entry of Syria and/or Saudi Arabia, possible Kurdish nationalist movement, which might even involve Turkey evolving.
Bottom line - it's a powder keg.
