Am I the only person left who think death-row inmates deserve no pitty, sorrow, sympathy and deserve to die?

There is a guy in Ohio today going to be put to death tonight. He murdered a woman then scattered her body parts over two states. Why should he get free room and board, free meals, free health care, no utility or mortgage bills, no car and insurance payments while those who are homeless for reasons not their own get no help at all? I think the guy deserves death, he has no place in society, prison or not.
And please, spare me the religious BS angle, even then I have no sympathy. And also spare me the 'wrongly accused' BS as well. Studies have shown that the wrongly accused make up less than 1% of death row inmates. (besides, this guy confessed)

I personally think in heinous crimes with three or more eyewitnesses, and GOOD evidence, they should take them out back directly after the trial and hang them. If there is reasonable doubt, he should have the opportunity for 1 appeal THEN be taken out back and hung. Save the tax payers money, save the 10 year waits.. good plan in my book

Probably not. Am I the only person left who thinks that punishment in a democratic, civilised state should not be irreversible, even for the most serious crimes?

Okay. If they are 150% sure that HE did it, then I believe he deserves to die. But as you said, there's that 1% chance that others didn't do it. They've been put to death before. That's the ONLY qualm I have about the death penalty.

I think that they keep them on death row way too long. Just turn them over to the victim's family and let them decide.

Take him to the middle of town and put a bullet in his head.
Where everyone can see.
Everyone boo hoos and whines that the animals are people too, then they wonder why we have so much crime.
