I would buy 2 jumbo packs a month, and that did great to get me through. As the child gets older they don't go through as many as they did as a newborn, so the number in the packages adjusted nicely to my changing schedule.
I hope this helps.

I went through 8-10 with my son. He was changed prior to every feeding and in between if he stooled. So in a 30 day month we'd go through max of about 300. As they get older the number decreases. When I was pregnant with him we bought diapers every payday until our son was born. By the time he was born once we had started buying them we had over 11 jumbo bags all size 1's. He came early as we expected and figured he'd fit fine in those size 1's but then had to go back and get newborns for the first 2 months of his life. I do recommend parents buy in advance you can always take diapers back to the store you bought them back even without a receipt if they don't fit. My son is now 10 months old and we buy the box of 94 and we usually only buy 2 boxes a month. Now remember just because the bag says it fits children 6-10 pounds doesn't mean it will fit your baby at least not in our case depends how the weight is distributed

240 to280 a month. I have a joke for you.
There were the hillbillies. They had never seen a throwaway diaper. The child wellfare lady came by one day to talk to them about there newborn, who was about 6 weeks old. She ask them how often they changed there babies diaper. The lady said, oh once or twice a week. the child wellfarw lady said, why don't you change the diapers more often. The man replied, well it says right on the box, that the diaper holds 4 to 8 pounds. LOL

Could be 5 or 6 a day at first. I purchased two of the largest packages of newborn diapers to prepare. You don't want too many in case you have a big baby or a fast grower. After that you'll have a better handle on how many you need and what size.

Lots, it depends on how old your baby is, but at first newborns go through a pkg. every few days.
My 22 month old son on the otherhand I bought a costco box of diapers size 4 (200 i think) for in January and still have some left.

How old is the baby.. it all depends on the age of the little one. If it is a newborn they should have about 7-10 soiled diapers a day and it will also depend on if they are bottle or breast fed as well.

Figuring that you should go through at least 8-10 a day, depending on whether your baby is on breast milk, or formula, a ROUGH average could be around 250 diapers/month. Give or take, depending the age, food and liquid intake.
