If you wanted to know who he is well he is a baseball player along time ago and he was black he loved sports like football baseball, tennis and even ping pong, his favorite was football, the time period he was living in was during segregation, and he wanted to get into organized baseball because he hated the ***** leagues because they werent treated fairly, so this baseball manajor named Branch Rickey wanted to find ***** baseball player that was really good and had alot of patience. So he sent out scounts to find one...he found jackie and asked him to sign a contract to be i the real baseball league so jackie signed it and made a huge commitment....it turned out that Branch Ricky and Jackie had broke the color barrier from base ball ad more black players started to play ad soo had rights....Hope that helped!
