Have any of you ever heard a person's electromagnetic field causing small appliances (radios, microwaves, fax machines etc) to malfunction or break regularly?

If so, is there anything the person can do to stop this from happening??

(I saw a documentary about it a while ago, but they left the idea as a mystery and didn't give any ideas of what someone could do to stop it)

Thanks for your help!

perhaps "electromagnetic field" is the wrong term.
There are lots of people who, when they touch electrical appliances, the machines malfunction and stop working.

There have even been documented cases of coffee cups and baby bottles shattering in a person's hand.

To clarify, the documentaries all indicated that this has something to do with their 'aura' or energy feild. It is NOT because they don't know how to work the equipment, or are squeezing too hard etc.

Yes, I have heard of this, and experienced it personally. When I wear a watch, it will run either slow or fast, even though it will keep perfect time when I'm not wearing it. In my opinion, there is more than just the "electrical field" at work here. Electrical fields create magnetic fields as well. With a watch, as is the case with a compass, a magnetic field can affect how the object works. Now, I'm talking about objects in close proximity, but I have also met people who have had strange effects on radios (for example, they either caused interference or enhanced the signal).

In many cases, this is a transient phenomenon. The people who experience it will notice the effects for a while, but it will go away after a period of time. But, there are other people who notice that certain effects linger (which is why I still don't own a watch).

Is it possible to stop this from happenning? Based on the previous discussion, that would involve being able to diminish or control the magnetic field that is produced by the body/mind. As is the case with many subtle phenomenon, it can be difficult to learn to control these fields, but it is possible. Just as many healers learn to channel energies in certain ways, so can a person learn to influence the energy that is being channelled.

As such, it would be possible to increase the magnitude of the magnetic fields (whether conciously or not) and have an affect on objects around you. It is also possible to decrease the magnitude of the field or to place a shield around your field in order to reduce its impact on objects around you.

As with most skills that you develop, it takes practice. You have to try to affect small objects first and gain a control and confidence in what you are doing. Once you are able to do that, you will have a better understanding of how to control the energies of your body. This will give you a better chance to reduce the impact of your energy field on other objects as well. It takes time and practice. Good luck!

Yes this happens to some people, and nobody really knows for certain why. I am pretty good with most electronics, but I tend to drain batteries frequently. Now this may sound a bit out there to some people, but I work as a shamanic practitioner - please note that I am making a distinction between a culturally based shaman and myself - I do not appropriate other cultures ceremonies. Anyway - I use a cd recording of drums with a head set in order to enter a trance like state to do the work that I do. When I started stepping up my practice due to training that I was receiving, I was unable to keep a smoke detector in the space I journeyed in because the batteries kept dying. I even replaced the whole unit with a brand new one and had the same problem. My cd player was burning through batteries much faster than just using it would explain, and the power supply for my laptop fried - literally (I tended to use my laptop in the same space that I was doing my journey work in).

After all of these incidents and having a scanning machine continually crash on me, I started to work with a power animal in order to sheild some of whatever my energy feild was doing that was creating this. Since then, I have not really had too many issues, and I'm not having to constantly replace batteries.

Doing something similar may help if you are having the same kinds of problems. You also may want to build a method that approaches from a different direction, and if you feel called to do that, please do. We are all working with the same principles, it's just the trappings that change. :)

I have worked with some of the strongest industrial superconducting magnets and I can tell you that even at high Tesla's there is very minimal effect to electrical equipment.
For example, why don't the computers next to a MRI machine malfunction? Because there is minimal interaction between the to. The human body cannot produce enough electromagnetic force to cause any malfunction in any electrical equipment.

Several years ago, I recall reading a story about a man who couldn't use a compass due to the affect his body had on such devices. Of course, he'd undergone intense chemotherapy treatment, which was believed to be the reason why. Unless there were still active radioactive particles in his system, I don't know why it would affect a compass. Either that or he had some type of metal part within him that had been magnetized in the process, thus giving off a strong magnetic field.

That's the only instance that I recall.

The electrical field of a person is too weak to damage any appliance. However, a static shock can damage electrical devices if it occures in the right place, and a person can be the mechanicsm by which that shock is delivered.

The field produced by the human body is MUCH smaller than the fields produced by your applicances. You are not affecting your appliances.

A person's electromagnetic field is to small to affect anything.

yes i have heard, but how to stop it,i cant tell you right now,
but i think it is related with the 'intention',that the person
who can make this happen posses, and the vibration generated to do so.

Apparently this happens to people who have been struck by lightning - and lived to tell about it...
